Hey ನಾನು Sachin E — Web Developer, Security Enthusiast, and the person behind Code Kannada.
I completed my BCA from Sir MV College @Kuvempu University, Karnataka.
During my studies I pursued a dedicated course in cybersecurity — learning how real-world security works, how attacks happen, and how to defend against them. I earned the CEH v13 certification which gave me strong hands-on knowledge of practical security concepts.
How I Got Into Security
My real turning point was attending BSides Bangalore — a non-profit, community-driven cybersecurity conference right here in Karnataka. BSides Bangalore is part of the global Security BSides movement, a community-led initiative that started in the United States in 2009 and has now hosted over 810 events across 210 cities in 60 countries.
BSides Bangalore brings that same open spirit to our city — with technical security talks, hands-on workshops, CTF (Capture The Flag) competitions, career counselling for students, and direct access to security engineers and researchers. No gatekeeping. No barriers. Just real knowledge shared freely.
Attending BSides Bangalore pushed me to attend more conferences, meet more security engineers, hear their real-world ideas, and keep learning beyond the classroom.
What I Do
I currently work at Startup Company @bandwings as a Web Developer and Security Tester. Every day I build web applications and test them for vulnerabilities — and everything I learn from that real work comes directly into Code Kannada’s articles.
Why I Started Code Kannada
I have a full-time job. I attend conferences. Life is busy. But I kept asking — why is there no quality tech content in Kannada? Why should a student from a small town in Karnataka have to struggle with English just to learn Python or understand cybersecurity?
Code Kannada is my answer. Everything I learn — from work, from conferences, from real experience — I bring here, in our language, completely free.
“Knowledge becomes more valuable when it is shared.”
